    I always come back don’t I?

Things change so quickly!  From the job I hated to a most awesome job that I just started on Monday.  I don’t really have a job title as of yet.  The job was sort of created for me and they are developing my role as we go.  That’s pretty awesome I think.  The pay is much better than the hotel work (no doubt).  The commute is a little longish but the scenery is mostly lovely.  I really feel like I can and will contribute in a large way to the organization.

I have reached 100 days on my 365 journey.  That’s a little under 1/3rd of the way.  Not too bad I would say.  I am mostly enjoying it… mostly.  Sometimes I wish I didn’t have to take my picture but then I remember why I am taking it and it’s not so bad really. I do mostly enjoy it.  I look forward to the days I take pictures that make people want to leave a comment.  Not all my pictures are like that – but some pictures gets lots of views and some pictures get lots of comments.  I spend a lot of time looking through people’s pictures as well.  It’s amazing how creatively different people are.

Mark’s parents came down on Saturday.  They took us out to lunch.  It’s so nice to go out to eat and not have to worry about paying for it.  They are really nice people and I think they enjoy spending time with us.  Well, I am GREAT!  Can’t blame them really.

I have been slacking off quite a bit on my blog – I guess before I got this job I was engulfed by a great sense of depression.  I had so many skills, had so much to offer and I couldn’t find any work suitable to my skills.  I was holding out for the place that would see all my potential and reel me in and make me their own.  I was hoping that people would be WOWed by me.  I turns out it is hard to WOW people on paper.  I tried.  Boy did I try.  I simply could not convey my awesomeness in a resume and for that, I feel sorry for anyone that could have snatched me up!

Life is otherwise going real well.  I am happy.  I am healthy.  I am in love.  Honestly, Mark amazes me more and more as time goes on.  When I think I know who he is, he surprises me with another facet.  He is incredible most of the time and pretty damn awesome the rest of the time.  They say that all things happen for a reason and I am sure my life is playing out exactly the way it was always meant to.  Every road you take in life helps to define who you are and who you become.  The ups and downs help you to learn your limits and push them.  The people you meet, the places you go, the decisions you make.  These are all important stepping stones to the every evolving story that is your life.   And so far, my life is pretty fucking amazing!

Tomorrow I start the first day of week 2 at my new job.  I will keep you all posted and will certainly try to blog a little more.  I do miss blogging.

I will leave you with some of my fav 365 pictures to date.

Hi! Didn't see you on Flickr of late, so thought I'd check here. :)

I so know what you mean about resumes and how they're not up to the task of capturing potential and awesomeness. And it drives me crazy because you'd think they'd have come up with a better tool by now! It sounds like you lucked out though with your new job -- or I should say, they lucked out! Congrats.

Indeed. Sometimes when things are happening you wonder "WHY ME???" but when you look back, it wasn't ever as bad as you thought when it was happening. Hell, you're alive aren't you? Must not have been that bad after all!

Awesome Carolina!...I totally agree that all things happen for a reason, sometimes we are not sure of the reason but at some point it will be shown to you
